Blue Jay girls No. 4 in final ‘A’ poll

The Jamestown High School girls’ basketball team is ranked fourth in the final Class A poll of the season.
The 13-5 Blue Jays fell one spot after being tied with Bismarck Century for third in last week’s top five. Jamestown is seeded third for next week’s West Region tournament in Bismarck March 5-7. They’ll open against Bismarck (9-10) March 5.
Fargo South (18-0), Bismarck (15-4) and Century (15-4) are 1-2-3 and Grand Forks Central (13-5) rounds out the poll.
Mandan finishes the boys’ poll going wire-to-wire.
Fargo North, Wahpeton, Williston and West Fargo round out the top five.
This week’s North Dakota Class A basketball polls compiled by the North Dakota Associated Press Sportscasters and Sportswriters Association. Each team is followed by first;place votes in parentheses, records, previous ranking and total points. These are the final polls of the season.
