The Jamestown College baseball team will have to wait a while to get back on the field.

The Jimmies (2-0) opened the season with a sweep of Bethel at the Metrodome on Wednesday night.

But their scheduled weekend games at Midland Lutheran (Neb.) have been postponed due to weather conditions.

Jamestown College begins its 10-game spring trip to Florida on March 8.

The Jimmie softball team opens its season with five games on March 6-7 in Hastings, Neb. They play 12 games from March 9-14 in Tucson.
