Weather may alter state soccer schedule

With snow starting this afternoon and expecting to continue into tomorrow, the opening day of the North Dakota Class A boys’ soccer tournament may be pushed back.

Tournament manager Jim Roaldson, the Jamestown High School athletic director, will make a determination by Thursday at 8 a.m. after surveying field conditions and the weather situation.

If the tournament is postponed, the format would likely change to have the first two rounds played on Friday, with games starting at 10 a.m., Noon, 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. The final round would be played as scheduled on Saturday.
