Jimmies clinch outright DAC title

Jamestown College clinched an outright Dakota Athletic Conference volleyball title with a sweep of Dickinson State on Friday night at the Hansen Center.

The Jimmies defeated the Blue Hawks 25-18, 25-20, 25-22.

It was JC’s 13th straight win, gave them a 12-0 mark in the DAC and gave the Jimmies their first back-to-back conference titles since 1985-86.

Katie Zent led JC with 10 kills. Samantha Revering and Ali Edwards had eight apiece and Shannon Fee added seven.

The Jimmies host Minot State on Saturday and Valley City State on Wednesday, Nov. 4.

JC has clinched home-court advantage throughout the DAC postseason tournament, which opens on Saturday, Nov. 7.
