The Jamestown College basketball teams swept a Dakota Athletic Conference doubleheader on Saturday in Minot.
The 6th-ranked Jimmie women jumped out to a 21-point halftime lead en route to a 70-54 victory over 13th-ranked Minot State.
Katie O’Neill led the way with 17 points for the Jimmies (11-2, 2-0 DAC). Kellie Schuneman had 14, Giuli Varriano 13 and Allison Epping 12 for JC. MacKenzie Mack had 17 and Caroline Folven 15 for the Beavers (8-2, 1-1 DAC).
The Jimmie men bounced back from an overtime loss the previous night in Dickinson, knocking off 13th-ranked Minot State 69-67.
C.J. Peeters finished with 19 points and seven rebounds and Hans Hoeg had 18 points for JC (7-4,1-1 DAC).
Shaun Johnson led the Beavers (8-3, 1-1 DAC) with 19 points and 10 rebounds.
Jamestown College travels to Minnesota-Morris on Wednesday for a non-conference doubleheader.
