Friday night wrap

Sav and I are sweating bullets, but we are done.

Here’s a short, very short, rundown of the night.

JHS boys’ basketball team got a big win in Minot. I don’t know when the last time the Blue Jay boys won in Minot, but it has to have been a long time ago. If anyone knows, email me would you?

Brian and Brett Sinner combined for 38 points. Brian had 23.

The JHS girls lost. Both teams play at Turtle Mountain today.

Gymnastics-wise, Kaitlin Walsh won the all-around title at the Pre-Christmas Invite. The Jays easily won as a team.

Alex Lind won a pair of events for the Jays, who scored over 140 points.

The JHS girls’ hockey team lost to powerhouse Bismarck. For some reason, the NDHSAA lets Bismarck have one girls’ hockey team, which is just stupud. They better be good and they are.

Morgan Geigle and Amber Schaack scored for the Jays.

That’s it and that’s all for now from the desk at The Jamestown Sun sports department.
