JC wrestlers Joseph Michel (133) and Willie Hernandez (heavyweight) each won their weight classes at the sawed off Jimmie Open.
I forgot Pat Nord there for a second. The freshman from Enderlin, who wrestled at Lisbon, won at 165 pounds. He too has had a solid season for the Jimmies.
Only a handful of teams sent full squads and a few other, most notably NDSU, sent a few unattached fellows from their JVs, no doubt.
Michel dominated and had four pins.
On the Blue Jay front, the boys’ hockey team lost 3-0 to Devils Lake. All the scoring came in the third period.
