Jays swept in Bismarck

I have nothing to add in terms of context or texture.

The Jays were swept on the road by Bismarck Century and neither game was terribly competitive.

Tuesday afternoon

We got Sav off to Valley City for the Barnes County Tournament and Dave squared working feverishly on features and previews.

Couple of notes:

1. Fargo South football coach is leaving the Bruins to take the head job at Moorhead High. As MSU-Moorhead alum, I’ve been hooting and hollering for years for the Dragons to scoop Feeney up, but I doubt they’ve tried and he probably wouldn’t want the hopeless gig anyway.

2. The JC men’s basketball team is not in the NAIA top 25 this week. If the rankings went into the teams receiving votes, the Jimmies would be 28th.

- The JC women remain ranked 5th. The Jimmies place just once this week, Thursday night in Valley City against the rival Vikings.
