A late update on in-town teams Thursday:
-The JHS girls’ hockey team defeated Devils Lake 4-1 for their second straight win. If the Blue Jays beat Williston Friday, they’ll all but clinch a spot in the state tournament next month.
-The JHS swimming team dropped a dual to Mandan 100-85. Landon Ostlie, Willy Marler and Chasen Miller each won two events.
-The JC indoor track and field teams went to Aberdeen to dual Northern State. The women won 78-70, while the men fell 80-60.
AnnaLiesa Fauth was a triple winner, while Sarah Skipper and Katie Conlon won two each.
Josh Ewalt had three seconds for the men, who had three individual winners, highlighted by Andrew Stoen qualifying for nationals in the pole vault.
There’s a bunch more on all of the above in Friday’s print edition. Please check it out.
Tiger Woods has created the bed he now lies in, but the man is just trying to get a little help, a gate opens and a heads-up papparazzi is there for the kill.
The photo is alleged to be of Tiger at a sex clinic, in Mississippi of all places. Selvig, Sav and Griz are concluding without a doubt that it is in fact Tiger.

The guy who got that picture is at least $100K richer, if not more.
LaMoure High School and Legion baseball standout Gaige Dunn has signed with the Jamestown College baseball team.
Dunn, a left-handed pitcher, has gone 8-4 with 2 saves in from 2007-2009 for the Loboes. He’s struck out 129 batters, or 11.25 per game, and posted an ERA of 0.58.
He’s also led the Loboes to three straight N.D. Class B Legion state tournaments, including titles in 2007 and ’09.
“We are excited to add a quality student-athlete, such as Gaige Dunn, to our baseball program. He has had an outstanding career with the LaMoure High School and LaMoure Legion baseball programs, and we expect much of the same success here at Jamestown College,” JC coach Tom Hager said. “We are really looking forward to seeing Gaige in a Jimmie uniform.”
He is the son of Billy Dunn of LaMoure and Naomi Riddle of Jamestown.
