JC women fall to No. 10 in NAIA rankings

The Jamestown College women’s basketball team dropped three spots in the latest NAIA basketball poll to No. 10.

The Jimmies, who were ranked as high as fifth earlier this season, are 4-3 in their last seven games and are a half game behind Black Hills State (8-2, 19-5) in the DAC.

The Yellow Jackets and Jimmies (8-3, 19-6) essentially flip-flopped places in the poll with Black Hills moving up from sixth to 10th. Minot State (7-4, 18-6) remains at No. 13.

The Jimmies host Valley City State on Wednesday at 5:30 p.m.

Minot State (7-4, 18-7) moved up four spots in the men’s poll to No. 19.

DAC-leading Black Hills State (7-3, 17-7) moved back into the poll at No. 25.

Valley City State (7-4, 16-9) received one vote in the poll.
