Jays’ Sinner wins high jump

Jamestown High School senior Brian Sinner won the state championship in the high jump at the state track meet on Saturday at the cool and damp Bismarck Community Bowl.

Sinner cleared 6-4, while nobody else got over 6-2 to win his first state title.

Nikki Iverson finished third in the long jump for the Blue Jay girls.

Napoleon’s Riki Schmidt won the 200 and 400.

Much more on state track in Monday’s print edition of the Jamestown Sun.
