-Jamestown College junior pitcher Alex Kreis could become the first Dakota Athletic Conference player drafted today in the MLB draft.
They’re through 5 rounds in New Jersey.
-The Golden Gopher baseball team lost to Cal-State Fullerton 9-5 last night in a Super Regional qualifying game. It was a nice run for the Gophers, but Fullerton is loaded. I watch some college baseball and they are the best team I’ve seen this year.
It will be the Titans or Miami that wins the National title later this month in Omaha.
-The Class A golf tournament is underway in Bismarck. The Blue Jays did not qualify.
-The Jamestown Post 14 American Legion baseball team opens their season today with a non-conference doubleheader against Fargo Post 2.
Post 14 is not a great club, but they should get to the state tournament this year. If they don’t, it would be a disappointment.
-Game 3 of the NBA Finals is tonight in Boston. I like the Lakers in a tight one.
-The Stanley Cup Finals resume tomorrow in Philly.
-I got a bunch of people inquiring about J.Broxton in my 16-team fantasy league. This isn’t some dork fantasy baseball league, either. It’s Year 14 of this league. You keep 3 guys every year. I was raised as a Twins/Dodger fan hybrid growing up, so dealing big Broxton would hurt.
I’ll keep you updated because I know none of you care, at least you shouldn’t.
-If you live in Jamestown, get out and vote. If you don’t vote, you can’t b*t#$.
