Jamestown College’s Ashley Smoke has left the school and will play at Minot State next year.

Smoke, a Manitoba native, hit .333 with 18 RBIs for the Jimmies last season.

A couple years back, the Jimmies lost Nicole Marcoux (forgive if spelling is wrong) to Dickinson State.

Neither is cool.

There should be a rule prohibiting in-conference transfers. You can’t do it in major college athletics, unless you want to sit out a year.
